Sri Lanka will hold an export exhibition later this month -- Sri Lank Expo 2012 -- to attract foreign investments, IANS reports.
Organised by the Sri Lanka Export Promotion Board, the expo is themed 'Partnering with the Hub of Asia' and will be held between March 28 and March 31. The venue is Colombo's Srimavo Bandaranaike Memorial Exhibition Center.
The exhibition will showcase products and services to visitors, including overseas investors, Xinhua reported on March 8. Over 1,000 foreign participants, including businesses from the US, Britain, UAE, Singapore, Japan, China, Malaysia and Korea are expected to attend. In addition, ministerial delegations from strategic markets such as Maldives, South Korea, China, India, Pakistan and Bangladesh will also attend.
