Pune, December 20: The third edition of SME CEO Knowledge Forum, an initiative of The Hindu Business Line, was organized in Pune on December 16.
The event, sponsored by UTI Mutual Fund, helps SME CEOs to identify and track the innumerable variables required to earn profit in a business.
The program brought experts from various disciplines like finance, HR, marketing and taxation, who conducted one-on-one mentoring sessions with the participants. This was followed by addresses by Bhareth L. Ghia, Country Head, SME & Distribution Channel, UTI MF, who spoke on avenues for investing surplus cash. Yogesh Dixit, Director, Crisil, enlightened the participants on credit ratings.
The other speakers present at the event who delivered speeches on various topics effecting SMEs were Sunil Kode, Head, Human Resources, Mather and Platt Pumps Ltd; M. V. Krishna, AVP, (Marketing), Piaggio Vehicles; Nilesh Modi, international tax expert, KPMG in India, and Kailash Katkar, MD & CEO Quickheal Technologies, reports Business Line.
