Sharma unhappy with Himachal policies for investors

Commerce and Industry Minister Anand Sharma has blamed the Himachal Pradesh government for pursuing policies not congenial to investors. He said that the state had an acute shortage of water - both for drinking and industrial purposes, besides poor connectivity.

"The industrialists are being asked to pay for laying the transmission grid (to provide electricity to their industrial unit," Sharma told reporters in Shimla.

The minister was in Shimla to review the central government schemes and to interact with CII delegates.
