Kerala organises events to step up tourism
The Kerala Tourism Department is in the process of organising several events, with the aim of promoting tourism in the state, reports The Hindu. One of these events is a cultural programme, The Wondrous Melodies of Kerala, which took place on July 19. It showcased various traditions of Kerala, including the swordfight called Kalariyapattu and the dance forms of Mohini Attam and Kathakali.
