PayPal is upgrading its payment options for large as well as small businesses, reports Tech Crunch. It recently came up with an in-store payment option for large enterprises and PayPal Here for smaller ones, which is highly easy-to-use card swiper attached to a cellphone.
The company also announced its decision to soon launch PayPal Payments for small businesses, which would consist of three different tiers. A business can use any of these tiers to process payment, depending upon its capabilities.
Peter Karpas, North American Vice President of Customer Engagement, PayPal, stated: “As the lines between online, offline and mobile are blurring, we are doing a comprehensive revamp of our products, allowing small businesses to get paid however they do business.”
PayPal plans to phase out of its existing standard, pro and non-profit plans offered to small businesses, by offering offline, mobile, and other payments options along with web payments.
