Khadi And Export Takes A Big Leap In Business

 
Haribhai Parthibhai Chaudhary will work in the development of MSME sector to contribute about 40% of India’s exports.
Haribhai Parthibhai Chaudhary took over as new Minister of State in MSME Ministry here today. After assuming his office Chaudhary said that he will work towards the development of MSME sector which contributes about 40% of India’s exports.

He is a member of Lok Sabha representing the Banaskantha constituency of Gujarat.  Haribhai Chaudhary was born in village Jagana (in Banaskantha district, Gujarat). He has received MCom degree from Mumbai University. Prior to joining politics, Chaudhary was an Agriculturist and a Businessperson. He has been elected three terms as Member of Parliament from the Banaskantha constituency. 
Chaudhary also won the By-election in 2013. He represented India in the International Parliamentary Union in which 550 Members of Parliament from 145 Countries participated.

Appeal and popularity of Khadi has fascinated them to place an order for 3,500 uttarias or angavastrams made of honey comb towel cotton Khadi for use by students at the time of Institute’s convocation. It is a significant development and this shows that Khadi is gaining ground in every sphere of life. IIT, Mumbai Director Prof Devang Khakhar said that Khadi is our national symbol and we have adopted Khadi to inculcate feeling of Nationalism in the students.
