News debuts ‘Virtual Jewellery Experience Lounge', a jewellery e-commerce website based on market place concept, has recently launched ‘Virtual Jewellery Experience Lounge’ in the Indian e-commerce landscape, to encourage browsing among the conservative Indian customers, who have a preference for the family jewellers, by making the online experience more personalized.

Customers can try almost 1,00,000 designs in various categories like diamond, gold, silver, artificial etc. by just clicking and uploading their photograph on the company’s website and by choosing the appropriate piece by seeing the jewellery on themselves via the Virtual Lounge. They can also evaluate the quality of the jewellery through detailed information provided about each piece along with the certification. Customers from all over the world can access’s virtual lounge.

Speaking on the occasion, Gaurav S Issar, CEO, said, “Research reveals that a lot of times, especially in the developing countries, customers like to try the products on themselves before making the purchase. This initiative is in response to the need of the customers and we believe will prove to be a game changer in the e-commerce space.”

JewelsNext is targeting overall revenues of over Rs 100 crores in FY13. With the introduction of ‘Virtual Jewellery Experience Lounge,’ the company hopes to cross the 100 transactions a day mark soon.
