The 66th edition of Business Opportunities Show (BOS) has witnessed a grand success in Chandigarh and Ludhiana, reports Franchise India. The show started at Chandigarh on February 11, 2012, and reached Ludhiana on February 12. BOS is being held at Jalandhar today (February 13), and will conclude at Jammu on February 15.
On the first day of the show in Chandigarh, over 50 brands exhibited the business opportunities available with them, across a wide range of sectors, with Rs. 50000 being the minimum investment required.
BOS is a wonderful opportunity for setting up one’s own small or medium enterprise (SMEs). It encourages investors to follow a minimum-investment-and-continued-returns business model in the service sector. The show helps investors explore the latest opportunities in the fields of franchise, retail and dealership. It also presents opportunities for investors to network with a number of brands. The show came into existence in the year 2003, and has been the leading business forum focused on franchises till then.
Sachin Marya, CEO & Publisher, Franchise India, said ‘There is huge potential in tier II & III cities to adopt to a franchise business model. There would be around 50% franchise stores present in Chandigarh today, and around 30% - 40% in Ludhiana. Further, under the banner of BOS, Franchise India plans to connect with a large MSME base. We have built a strong association with the Ministry of MSME, and intend to grow our business as well as the culture of entrepreneurship across India.’
